I heard about an alternative to getting silicone implants (the water bags), where they basically liposuction the fat from other places on your body (if you have some spare) and put it in your breasts.......is this a real procedure? That sounds really weird....

Its possible but it would be a temporary solution because the fat would break down and be absorbed back into the body to be re-distributed as your genetics dictate. Also, it would probably not give a lift which is the main reason women get implants.

This is dangerous. The fat removed from other areas of the body dies within the breast after it is transplanted. The degradation of this fat leads to calcification (the deposition of calcium on the decaying tissue.) This can make the screening for breast cancer over the woman's lifetime harder. A breast cancer could be missed.

Even if it worked (most of the fat dissolves after movement,) the danger alone makes it a poor idea.

What's wrong with the present size? What about the parts of the body from where fat is extracted? It seems odd as it involves artificial alteration of the body proportions!

I would be suspicious and we all need to quit looking at movie stars to be the icons of looks. you can look great with a good healthy lifestyle and not by the hugest boobs. A fresh lovely face and a good complexion is by good health. Look at britney spears she looks like a train wreck. what a pity at such a young age.

nope. it isn't. you can have some fat transferred to your bum or lips or other region, but not your boobs.
