My hair is curly, and i have a question on chemically relaxing hair, how much does it cost, and will it make hair that is curly, wavy. please let me know the facts and information and if you have any brand names, please let me know.

i've never had my hair chemically relaxed but i know that it makes curly hair completely straight. like... stick straight. uhm... i know it leaves your hair kind of delicate and you have to be careful about styling. good luck!

I have chemically straightened hair. It did not damage my hair that much, actually less than using a flat iron every day. It did make my hair very straight, and after about 8 months it's just now starting to get wavy in the areas where the curls were the smallest. In the morning, I just wash it, use a detangling spray to comb it, and put a very very small amount of baby oil on for shine (as advised by my stylist).
I paid $15 to have my hair straightened.

OH MY!!!! To be blessed with curly hair and want it straight! I have striaght hair and want it curly. First I would suggest trying on some wigs before doing anything drastic to your hair. That way you will know if you even look good in straight hair. Then look into the time and cost of maintaining that straight hair. A good hairdresser should be able to tell you that. You may want to just opt for keeping that beautiful head of curly hair.

Well when you do that it does damage your hair. And you are a lil' bit S.O.L after you get it done. It can also be pretty expensive. Just make sure you know what you're doing before you take a drastic measure like that.

ok I had my hair permed a I got sick of it so I got it chemically relaxing. mine was about 50 dollars.......And my hair was bone straight.
But you know I like guys with curly hair,better the guys with straight hair....So only change it if you want too.

please please dont do this not only will it damage your hair but it wont make it straight like you want it to be. I would recomend just getting a good flat iron and even though this will do damage over time to it wont be as severe. When you chemicaly straighten your hair its gonna make it real frizzy and your gonna have to flat iron it again... dont do the damage
