doesn't make any sense to continue to pay for that. if you are giving 100% in your training and nutrition you should be making gains in either strength/endurance or decreasing body fat.

Definitely. A decent trainer can help identify your sticking points and get you to work past them. They can also objectively see what needs changing or improving, based on what your goals are. The key is finding a decent trainer, which means not only knowledgeable, but someone who works well with you and pushes you.

only if they are motivating you. There job is basically this: teach you to work out safely. motivate you. thats about ti. If they arent doing this than move on. If they are doing this but your getting nowhere, take a hard look at your diet. working out isnt everything man, you gotta eat right. before you dump him/her talk to your trainer again and reacess your goals. might be your wanting a different type of result than your program is shooting for

personaly, i think its not worth to hire someone to get you to work out. if you want to do it just do it your self at home. its cheaper. i know its hard to get your mind set to actually do it and stay consistant but why go to a fitness trainer if there is no productivity?
also consider changing ur diet if you see no changes with the instructor. maybe thats the reason.
good luck

haha i have a few friends that would kill me if they knew i said this but no its not worth it sorry meghan hahaha .
when your first starting out and don't really know techniques and tips its good to have one show you the ropes but sounds like you got a bad trainer that is if you've given him enough time to work with you and your not complaining you don't have a six pack after a weeks worth of sweat
