ye onrpg.com and mmorpg.com both are good to find out games.
but I would recommend use http://gamelist.mmosite.com to get what you want. It's much comprehensive and helpful for gamers.

There are several great free mmorpgs. www.onrpg.com and www.gameogre.com list several dozen, if not 100+. Hope this helps.

Shadowbane (http://www.shadowbane.com/us/) is free and there are lots of others that have free trials like Minions of Mirth, Ryzom, etc. Check them out at www.mmorpg.com.

Also, MapleStory requires you to install on your PC, but it's also very popular: http://www.maplestory.com
