Use microsoft windows media Player 11. go to www.microsoft.com there you can download windows media player 11. after installing windows media player go to tools, OPTION and Click on FILES TYPES, click on select all and click on ok. if you are playing VCD in computer than open movie from MPEGAV folder and select AVSQ.dat file and open with media player. I am sure it will play but be sure that your CD's are not scratch and your 48x speed CDROM is running properly. use head cleaner to clean the head of your CDROM. Still if you have same problem, try changing your CDROM, it's very cheap now a days and you can have 52x speed.

Winamp is great. Plays all audio files, except ones specifically meant for iTunes, and it's free! You can get it from here: http://www.winamp.com/
