Why is it when I work out/condition my muscles aren't sore afterwards but when I wake up in the morning my legs are sore and when I sit down....ouch...
Just wondering why in the morning and stuff?

that is called delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), usually occurs about 24-48 hrs after a training session. it's most likely caused by the combination of trauma to skeletal muscle and a loss of calcium homeostasis in the muscle cell.

OK....when you exercise you flood the flood the muscle with blood. You also tear down muscles tissue. That is how we get stronger. The tissue is rebuilt and is stronger than before. The blood brings in nutrients to help repair the tissue. But it also brings in something know as lactic acid, a byproduct in our blood stream. This is what cause muscle soreness. Think if it as a little waste material in the system. You will not feel it right away, but the next morning you do feel soreness because of this waste material in the muscle tissue interfering with the ability to perform. This happens overnight because that is when tissue is repaired and rebuilt. That is why we sleep, to give our bodies a change to regenerate. Do not worry, this is natural. And as your body gets stronger you handle the lactic acid better and the pain will eventually go away.

every time you do any form of exercise you cause a tearing action in the muscle tissue you need to get dome kind of amino acid like lysine to speed the healing process up to lessen the level of pain you will have

Because during your awake hours you are continually moving your muscles, keeping them flexed and loose.

When you sleep, your muscles relax, therefore, tighten up.
