Best thing for you to do is this...

Take low dose analgesia that you are not allergic to.
Apply an ice pack to the outer side of the affected cheek for 10mins at a time.
Stop touching and trying to wobble the said painful tooth!!!
At night and after each meal, rinse your mouth out with warm salted water (1/4 of a teaspoon of salt dissolved in 1 cup of warm water). This will allay any infection.
If you get worsening symptoms of pain, get a temperature with chills and shaking..go to the ER.
Hopefully, it will settle down for you.

Your feeling of being feint and also your hot flushes could definitely be caused by your tooth. I couldn't say if your tooth will be pulled or not, you need to go back to the dentist asap. If the dentist doesn't do anything about it then I would suggest getting a second opinion.

it might be your tooth and it could be a number of other things. sinus problems often cause upper tooth pain and can make them seem loose when they're not. If youve had a trama to your face in the past, your root could be shortening causing this stress. Call your dentist back and get this taken care of before it gets worse. If you notice it is loose for sure, call right away and often they can help you before it comes out.

I guess you better go and see a neurologist or a neuro-surgeon. I had a similar experience a couple of years ago. my dentist didn't want to extract my tooth because there was nothing wrong with it. So I went to a hospital and I was referred to a neurologist or a neuro-surgeon. After some tests, and dental problem was ruled out. trigeminal neuralgia was the culprit. I am not saying I am 100%correct, but there's no harm in trying...

I'm not sure ...you could possibly have to have it pulled or you need a root canel done to it...it could just be a cavity though...
