Tech support engineer works in a place similar to a call center to provide technical support to a product. He can also go on sight to provide technical support. Since engineering students learn a lot more than about tech support, they are not interested.
Software engineering can span from writing codes for a software to designing logic for an application to more complex activities of software development. it is more challenging and more suited for an engineer

You've got good answers already, but let me put it in perspective for you - chances are, everything else including their education & grades being equal, the tech support engineer will earn less than the software engineer. Why? Because the software engineer is on the leading edge of the project, while the tech support engineer deals with stuff that's already in production or operational mode.

Technical Support Engineers are actually people who are called in on hotlines to answer questions about certain fields, while a software engineer is the actual person who codes and creates the software.

contained in the computer market interest titles mean not something ( ppl who artwork at a decision middle say they artwork in IT! ). The interest identify ought to intend something in a particular corporation yet that doesn't say that it skill a similar in the different corporation. information get proper of entry to, Programmers, application Engineers, Compter engineers, structures analyst, programmer analyst etc .. i'm a application professional in accordance to my interest identify, I spend quite a number of my time interior boxes getting hardware to artwork. ppl at artwork call me a techie. you'll get a better effective idea in case you'll hit upon out what they're paid! I have a pc degree and many years journey, had a good number of interest titles, some I not in any respect understood ( what does a 'fellow' do? ) so it purely is going to educate interest titles mean squat!. ;-)
