The best thing your friend can do is let him go. If he gets some time away he could change his mind when he sees how he misses her or it will confirm for him he is right. Either way, she wont have to wonder. He will come back ready to be serious or he will be gone and she can find someone who will be thrilled to have her love.

It was attraction because love is when you know the person and when he knew her..... He realized she wasn't the one... Very common... They should just be friends and not get worried about their feelings... They need time to know each other.
