He already knows I like him; thing is he just broke up with his girl for around 2 months and got rejected like last week when he wanted to go out again.

another thing is we are REALLY close friends, we been through alot. Should I still ask him out>?
edit: maybe I should tell you how close we are, we went out as friends like 3 times already and went home faces red off of laughing.
and I always help him deal with his ex when they had problems. I spend time with him alone every morning during school

honey just be his friend u cant be both friends are forever, lovers are easy to find and usually dont last just be there for him and someday something magic may happen and he will discover that he loves you as much as you love him hang in there hint about how u feel but dont push or be to direct about it .

give him some space. try not to stay in touch wif him for a week or so.
even if a guy has just broken up wif a girl, and is rejected again, its still hard for him to move on to another girl. he needs time to deal with being rejected.
u being close frens wif him does nothing to the situation. it dosen't change de fact det he might still be longing for his ex.
after all, u won't want him to go out wif you or date you on de rebound wud you?
for now, stay as his fren. its wad he needs more den anyting. accept wad he tells you, and try not to dig out too much of his personal feelings.
hopefully, one day he'll "notice" you det way, and give u and himself a chance to take things to another level. dun get pushy. it might turn him away.

I'm sure this isn't the advice your looking for but sounds to me like you should just be friends. I tried to go out with one of my best guy friends and things ended up ruining it and we broke up and after that we just quit talking.

I think you should definitly ask him out, chances are he might be really happy you did, you and him are already very close, just take things slow as slow as he needs it to be and just let him now that your there for him.

don't ask him out, just make your moves and flirt. let him know that you like him, but don't make it too obvious.
make him ask YOU out. just work on getting him to like you.
