no, genetics make you short. push ups make you strong..

Pushups will never make you short. Some people say that lifting weights might prevent you from growing taller, but most bodybuilders start lifting weight at 17 or so, and they certainly don't look short.

Anyway, you can do pushups at any age and it has got absolutely nothing to do with your height.

If you do a bunch of pushups real fast it will make you short of breath, but they won't affect your height. If that's what you mean.
