that I have become sluggish, and depressed. Before someone suggests: "Diet and Exercise", I must tell you that I am not disciplined enough to do that alone. What I really need from someone is a way I could curb my appetite so that I wont desire such large amounts of sweets, and high calorie foods. Is there an OTC I can buy at a drug store, or online, or any other method I could use to stop these cravings and the weight that comes with it? Again, please dont tell me exercise or diet...besides the more weight I put on, the less I feel like exercising, as I have become very tired, unmotivated, sad, etc.. Please help someone...

I hear you asking for help. Are you also asking yourself for help. Do you want a magic pill that, once swallowed, does all the work you aren't willing to do for yourself? That pill doesn't exist. But don't despair. You have the power to heal yourself. Begin by holding the line on what you're eating. Don't eat more. Then begin cutting down, a little at a time. It has taken you a year to get where you are, take a year to get back. If you do one pound a week for a year you release 52 pounds. That's pretty good. So look at it this way. All you have to do is release ONE POUND this week. If you don't manage it this week, do it next week. And then, the next week, release ONE POUND. There's no rush. It helps to visualize what you looked like a year ago. Keep that vision in mind. Think about it each time you sit down to eat. Remember what you ate a year ago and try to copy that. Good luck.

I know that is easier for someone without this problem to tell you put down the fork, or walk, or exercise, and diet.. but it isn't as easy as they make it sound. For some people with the extra baggae, it is hard to keep up with diet and exercise, they dont understand how it feels, and what a living hell it is for other folks.
I think you should start with the mind. It is all on having a positive mental attitude. IF your attitude has changed for the worst, because you feel ugly and unmoveable, sluggish, then you are never going to do anything about it, because your brain is telling you it's just too damn hard.
You need to motivate yourself. Treat it as a life or death situtation. Set small goals at a time. And get organized. Set a menu that you can go by, and dont eat anymore than what it is written on it. serve yourself less, and keep yourself busy, and away from the kitchen. Buy yourself a treadmil, if your too sluggish to get yourself to the park, most of all push yourself.. you have too.. Remember that the changes wont start until you do!... Put a fat picture of yourself in the fridge door.. so everytime you go there, you look at it. Dont give up, and tell those around you to support you. Get all those fatty, sweets, and junk food out of your home. Fill it with fruits, veggies, and water.. and stick to your plan. Take walks.. do it naturally as possible.. or go see a doctor for a food suppressant. MOST OF all DO IT FOR YOU!

the thing is the more you gain weight the less you want to excersize, since you aren't excersizing your body needs another outlet to get rid of your nervous energy and releive stress. that is where the craving for food begin. You have to start very slow with the excersize, don't even worry about trying to diet. Just very slowly get your body adjusted to really moving again. Maybe 10 minutes a day even for a week, of walking. Then the more you do this, the easier it will become. Eventually you will be able to do more and more and then your diet will automatically readjust itself. I am telling you the truth. I know you said don't tell you about excersize. But if you don't stop this cycle now the next thing you know you will be 400 pounds and walking up a flight of stairs will seem practically impossible. Imagine how hard it will be for you to start excersizing then! That is how people continue to gain and gain! I know from experience excersize is torture if you are overweight. But the more you do it, the less painful it becomes. When you are active and fit excersize will become fun. you might think I am crazy now. But you have to admit it is worth a try to just walk 10 minutes a day for one week just to try it out and see if I am right! I'm sure you love yourself and are willing to fight a little for your survival!!!
