Hmmm ... very good question. You are saying that it is not the cabin (Scadding cabin, on the CNE grounds), and it was built in 1794. If not the cabin, then I don't know what it would be, although this list shows Scadding as the oldest of the remaining structures.

If not Scadding, St. James Cathedral is a close second. The current cathedral is the 4th structure on those grounds, with the original church built in 1797 (see attached).

I'm very interested in reading the correct answer for this one. Thanks for raising the question.

I have no idea but the buildings at Fort York (Circa 1800) would be older than Casa Loma.

Edit: wikipedia says the Scadding Cabin 1794
The City of Toronto also mentions the Scadding Cabin as well as "A log cabin on the grounds of the Guild Inn in Scarborough was once thought to be from the 1700s, but a archaeological dig found evidence of it being much younger"

So It seems to me that it is the Scadding Cabin (though you say it's not the cabin).

Eliminated:

Scadding Cabin 1794
Ousterhout Log Cabin 1795
Gibraltar Point Lighthouse 1808

The Blockhouse numbers 1 & 2 were built in 1813.

The oldest building then (it was not specified whether the oldest building is in existence or not) is the structure where the aborigines lived: the teepee.
