I was skepitcal about moon sand but my daughter received some as a gift (she's 5) and she loves it. It's not as messy as I thought it would be. If it gets on the carpet or furniture, good luck cleaning it. But if they play with it on a hard surface (or preferably in the mat that it comes with) then it doesn't take much effort to clean up.

Go to a Wal Mart or craft store like Michales maybe even a dollar store will have it. It would you S+H. By the way you can get Michales Crafts.com
