I had a similar thing happen to me. I looked after a buddy's two cats for alittle over a month a few years ago. I never even thought about asking for money. My buddy brought food. He came by almost every day. He didn't offer money and it didn't bother me. I did it out of friendship. Just talk it over with this person and find out what he thinks.

Maybe between 50-100 dollars. If you're taking care of food and litter, and the person volunteered, then that should be fine. Cats are a joy to have around, so that may be reward enough for the person.

I think that as long as you pay for supplies you shouldn't really pay anything else. Go over once a week and vacuum really well. Then at the end of the whole thing, put together a nice gift basket and thank you card.

since your providing the food & litter i'd say 5 bucks a day or so unless your cat is a trouble maker. but you could always just ask your friend what he/she prefers to except and it could be little to nothing or you can talk him/her down to a price more suiteable to you and your pocket.

If the behaviour replace surpassed off even as to procure the catflap, then i might want to say that very virtually genuinely they're looking the excellent outdoors a more effective interesting prospect than sitting on your lap in the winning day - exceptionally because the cat flap enables them the freedom to go back and pass as they please. because the nice and comfortable temperature climate arrives, they are going to also discover places to curve up outdoors to sleep interior the solar - yet another more effective alluring prospect than your lap. the different element that takes position is that if you're a fidget, you arise countless circumstances and flow round lots, then the cats will discover that they couldn't in any respect come to a call your lap and could discover alternatives the position they could sleep without being disturbed. it really is such exertions being a cat after all! we've 5 cats at homestead. My mom lives with us and her lap is the accepted as she will sit down with them on her lap for hours. i'm too busy to sit down for lengthy, and my daughter fidgets too a lot, so the cats do not discover us restful adequate to go back to a call to sit down with us a lot. you may want to discover that giving them a small manage in the adventure that they arrive to you and sit down for a jiffy will charm to them, and think ofyou've got were given to be prepared to stay for a lengthy time period too. also, because the elements receives chillier and the nights charm to, then they are going to go back to you for warm temperature and cuddles! one of our cats spends ninety 5% of her day outdoors interior the summer time - some days we do not see her in any respect. She is satisfied drowsing below a bush or searching interior the community park (we stay interior the united kingdom and the park is about 20 ft from the front of our homestead, the in uncomplicated words street to pass is a private one). in spite of the undeniable fact that, in the course of the iciness, she spends ninety 5% of her day contained in the homestead - ideally in a hammock strung on a radiator or below a blanket on my mom's lap the position it really is gorgeously warmth and comfortable. Your cats are likely looking different places to sleep outdoors or playing the hotter (properly, extremely hotter) climate and longer days. also they're youthful and wanting to be autonomous. they are going to come again to you even as they're waiting - once you're making it a blinding position to be! sturdy success!

If you can think of a nice present for your friend I would suggest that. Something you can afford and will give them pleasure and express your gratitude for keeping your cat.
