You should contact the employers who sent you W-2's from 2005 and ask them to reissue your W-2s. You should take all of that info to your nearest tax prep office, and ask them if you are required to file. They can help you from there.

You can still file your 2005 return. Any refund due will be paid as long as you file within 3 years of the filing deadline so, you have 2 more years to go.

You'll have to contact your employer(s) to get copies of the W2s. There may be a charge for that.

Any refund would be based upon your tax liability vs how much was withheld. Being a minor has nothing to do with your entitlement to a refund; minors pay taxes like anyone else.

Being (or having been) a minor is of no significance. You can, and should, file; your actual tax liabiity is likely to be small and you may score a refund. The IRS will not get particularly upset about the late filing as long as they owe YOU money. As for the W-2's, you can get by without them; it is best to try to reconstruct the figures that were on them, and attach this with a note of explanation. (Their computers know how much was withheld on your behalf.) But, the IRS will be happier if you can talk the employers into giving you copies of the things.

First, yes you can refile, and since you didnt owe taxes, you should have no problem. Next, if you lost your w2's you can actually ask the employer for a copy or their accountant. Paying taxes has nothing to do with your age, but it does with your income. Otherwise, child stars would not pay taxes.
Good Luck.

(not a tax professional, this is not tax advice, simply one womans opinion....)

First you have to have your W2. Being a minor has nothing to do with anything. Whether you get all your money back depends on your total income and if your parents are claiming you as a dependent. If they are, you cannot claim yourself.
