What is taking so long for Jesus Christ our saviour to come back?

Do we destroy ourselves ourself? None believers safe your self your self. I am not making much sense am i?

In God's time it has only been two days; 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Also Jesus was put to sleep just as Adam was to remove Eve from his side; Genesis 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
All the Christian that accept Christ become the Bride of Jesus and we are living in that time period; 2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Also consider Satan has been making his world for the past 6,000 years perfecting mankind so he can come rule over it as Adam and Eve were suppose to in the Begininng. He also will have a bride or a church he will rule the earth with. This will be the End of time and World War III

The anti-Christ already came and went. The end of days happened around 1000 years ago more or less as predicted. The scary part is that we have surpassed the predictions and people are frightened of living without new ones.

The writings on the second coming specify a length of time 1000 years.

Around the year 1000 AD (about a thousand years ago) we were in the midst of some of the darkest of the Middle Ages. Life in cities was squalid and disease was rampant.

There was a huge schism in the Roman Catholic church. Due to this split, there were 2 popes appointed by the opposing sides. Atrocities were committed on both sides and many just people died.
It was during this time that many devoutly religious people claimed to be members of the Dark Church to escape from the evils being done by the official church.

It took several hundred years before the Renaissance would arrive and wipe away the death and decay from Europe.

The Lord has His own schedule and yours or mine in the human race sense has no conceivable meaning to the whole picture. I'm not making much sense am I? We do destroy ourselves and you'd best be on Jesus Christ saved list when you croak or really bad news. He will come back when He already knows is the right time. Man will probably be in the process of destroying mankind before our Lord will return.

Jesus was perfect. everything he did was perfect. He has no need to do again what he has already done. Spend time on earth.
Jesus is NOW in heaven, on the throne of the Kingdom, and he has ejected Satan from heaven to the vicinity of earth.

(Revelation 12:12) On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

Take a look at what the earth has experienced SINCE 1914.

For God, a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day.
It took 6 days to create the earth, as we now know it.
I like the whole "Creationists Theory", but I do believe that God had allready created the universe, and other things, and that the world was here, He just did some wonderful things, to make it the way it is for us. (I like Geology, and Geology seems to say, things have been around for more than just 6,000 short years)
Oh, I'm getting side tracked...
Well I think He wants to give "everyone", the time they need to come to Him.
Ofcourse with hundreds, or thousands of babies delivered each day...HMMM.
When, He decides, "in His time, not ours".
He wants for, "not one soul to perish".
When "everyman/ woman/ child", has heard the word of God, then it will be time for Him to come and take us home.
I believe all of the Phrophetic Scriptures have been fulfilled. (that need to have been fulfilled for Him to come) I think the Anti-christ will build the new temple, after having gotten the 7 year peace treaty signed, between the "Muslims, and the Jewish faiths".

I do not know if Christians will be made to go through the time of Anti-christs' reign on earth.
I am hoping to be "snatched/ caught up", in the twinkling of an eye, before all hell breaks loose.

Keep looking up, keep praying, "That all will hear of Jesus Christ", and then, once everyone hears of Jesus/ God...It will be time to go home .

The real question need be this. Has the church [body of Christian believers] made themselves ready (with the help of the Holy Spirit in a relationship with Jesus Christ) for His Return ???

It's all in the book. Several thingshave to happen first. There will be a one religion world, one monetary currency, etc... We still have a ways to go... but there are signs that we are in the last days. Best to concern yourself with being prepared for when it happens instead of trying to figure out the day it will happen.

Humans are constantlly evolving and moving forward. It could be possible that the world won't end until humanity reaches a point where it could actually have some kind of meaningful interaction with God instead of staying at the point where we are now, where we are no even close to God's level. If you, you know, believe in that sort of thing.
