This is serious. I believe in signs, it's just that I struggle to read them sometimes....
If a guy you like steps on a dead rose while you're walking together what does that mean, looking at it metaphorically?
We were walking to class together and he stepped on this dead rose... I don't know where it came from, no one was selling any and it just seemed like a movie moment...
Just last night I asked God to send me a sign as to where I stand with him in the future. What do you think?

That's a great question. However you must realize that any attempt will at last fall short of what you could get if you ask God directly. But as a human, I can try my best.
First we must see the negative. The rose was dead. Meaning lifeless and without joy. It was on the ground, which tells me it was in a low place. And when he stepped on it, that probably was the last sign you needed.
All in all, I dont think its meant to be........keep praying and asking for more. I dont think just one sign could do it.

I'm not sure about your sign, but there was a time when I was in a relationship that I knew wasn't right. I just couldn't get out. I mentioned to God I was gonna need a big sign to understand what I was suppose to do. Three days later there was a fight, on the night stand next to my hospital bed was a vase of roses, with a card 'the guy' that said You know I love you, just don't say anything. When I finally realized that this was the big sign, I spoke out and got out of that relationship. If you think it means something it probably does, but only you would be able find that understanding.
PS: Even though this was a long time ago, I'm very careful about asking for big signs, lol. Actually I don't even need to ask for them anymore, they're always available for me to find.

Nope. May have just been a rose that someone threw away because it was given by someone they didn't really like.
Or maybe a spanish senioritta dropped it from between her teeth while dancing the Tarantella.
Or maybe you need to check out some different movies. Sounds like you're gonna get bounced around quite alot in this life if you allow such paltry everyday occurances to drive every decision.

God can give you a sign. But i really doubt it would have anything to do with some guy you like stepping on a dead rose.
When God sends you a sign you will know.

All it means is a dead rose was in the direct path he took to walk on.
God's signs don't come to you in such was usually. If you are looking for God to send you signs, look in areas like how you two get along together, whether or not you have a chaste and clean relationship before marriage (no sex).
If you really want God to show signs He will, but it will be unmistakably linked to the two of you, your feelings and his, your plans for the future.

Well, if you're looking for signs, it depends on the color of the rose. If it was red, then it's a sign that romance isn't going to happen, or if it does, it will end badly. The most important thing to remember is that you can't let signs, which might be read wrong or which might not even be there, rule your life. Make your own decisions and don't let some vague universe do it for you.

I would interpret it as if it were a dream. The dead rose would represent something that was once beautiful and romantic losing its purpose, it's life time is over. This could be a old romance of his that he may have been holding on to. His stepping on it represents his desire to obliterate this from his emotions and thoughts, he is now ready to step forward into life and accept a new belief in love. He is now ready to walk away from and let go of painful past experiences and embrace the beauty that love can bring.

I think this is like dream interpretation. It can really only mean something to you in the context of your experiences. Be leary of what anyone else besides you says about it. I would ask however, do you think your boyfriend stepped on it on purpose? If you have reason to believe he saw the rose and had an urge to grind it under his foot, that might reveal something about his personality. On the other hand, God has a way of speaking to us. If you ask Him to show you something, and believe that He will, God can speak to you thru just about anything.

Well as I would interpret it, a dead rose can symbolize a relationship that has already ended and fallen by the wayside. Perhaps his stepping on the rose could mean forever ending that relationship, and officially breathing life into this newer one.
That's just a thought...

keep away from high places dont lrt him walk near the edge when he is with you
god uses real flowers [living flowers] was it facing you
was it a bud or an old flower
what was its colour ,did the flower get crushed
had it a thorny stem
was it long or short stem
any ribbons
what colour?
was it cut or pinched
you asked for sign how much did you get from the sign>?
