So im a senior in high school, male, 5ft11, 170lb, with a waist size 30. I would say i have a pretty athletic build but unlike most guys I have huge thighs. For most guys this would be a good thing but to me this is a problem. They're really not that huge but they
make it hard for me to fit into jeans such as diesel or 7 jeans. The most interesting part is that it's all very toned muscle so I cant exercise because that would just make my legs bigger than it already is. I guess my goal would be to fit into a pair of jeans that is my actual waist size, a 30, without have to buy a bigger size just because of my thighs. Any suggestions??

I have the same problem, I'm just a bit bulkier. (5'2", 217 lbs)
They make these wonderful things called "Relaxed Fit Jeans", made for we, the bulky.

My only other suggestion is to buy a bigger size, and a belt.

sounds like youve got the same dilemma i had when i was a serious cyclist. I trained hard 4 times a week and competed in many competitions and the problem i ended up with was huge thighs, that were out of proportion with my waist (29"). the only thing that fit both my waist and thighs were the lycra cyclist shorts! and like you, it was solid muscle there so fat wasnt the problem. I didnt wear jeans a lot because they were just too uncomfortably tight in the thigh and butt when i got them in my proper waist size. i tried wearing a 32 but they just looked sloppy on me. I just started wearing sporty style clothing like wind pants, cargos, hiking shorts with wide legs, etc.
within a year after i stopped my intense cycle training, my thighs slimmed down a fair bit, even tho theyre still relatively larger than average. also my waist is now 31 instead of 29, so that helps too. dont know if your a cyclist or not but if you are, youcould maybe cut back a bit on the amount of training your doing or cut out the squats and leg presses at the gym. speed skaters have the thigh issue also.

dont wear jeans that dont fit. I too have that issue..each thigh is 28" in size, but I wear a 35" waist.

I wear loose fitting synthetic clothing (just b/c I think Jeans are redneck). I prefer REI sahara pants, or anything by Columbia and North Face made outta some nylon.

Besides they last MUCH longer..
I"ve been wearing the same 10 pair of convertible pants for the last 7 years..

My suggestion would be to try what women have been doing for years: try on multiple sizes of multiple styles in multiple brands.
Sometimes two pairs of the same size, same style, same brand... are still cut differently. Try them on in the store and expect to leave a heap of rejects in the vicinity of the changing room.

And remember these two words: "professional alterations."
I know what 7 jeans cost and for that kind of $$$ they should fit perfectly, but if you buy them and they don't, you can get a tailor to give you a custom fit. Usually it's easier to alter something that's too big.

feels like youve offered an identical downside i had even as i change right into a substantial cyclist. I proficient not basic 4 events a week and competed in many competitions and the impediment i ended up with change into once tremendous thighs, that were out of percentage with my waist (29"). the single element that are compatible each my waist and thighs were the lycra cyclist shorts! and mutually with you, it change into once solid muscle there so fat wasnt the impediment. I didnt positioned on jeans lots thinking they were basically too uncomfortably tight interior the thigh and butt even as i purchased them in my fantastic waist length. i tried wearing a 32 in spite of the undeniable fact that they in uncomplicated words recognised sloppy on me. I basically began wearing sporty variety clothing like wind pants, cargos, rock climbing shorts with vast legs, etc. interior a year after i ended my extreme cycle training, my thighs slimmed down a authentic looking bit, even tho theyre in spite of the undeniable fact that quite more effective than classic. also my waist is now 31 in spite of the undeniable fact that of 29, in order that helps too. dont understand in case your a cyclist or now no longer yet once you're, youcould likely decrease quite on the volume of educating your doing or decrease out the squats and leg presses on the gym. %. skaters have the thigh hassle also.

Wear relaxed fit or even women's jeans. now before you freak our here you can find some jeans that have the unisex look ones that have no girly looks at all. Ive given this same advice in reverse( wear men's jeans) to women who have no butt ans skinny thighs.
