Man, well, Theres this guy I’ve been talking to for a while, and he is feeln’ me but I don feel that way back, and he knows this. We talk on the phone every night until about 1 or 2 every morning. We talk about everything. Well one night we were kicking it at one of his best friends house and, he stepped out for a minute, then next thing u know is, he walks back in, his best friend and I were all on eachother. I felt so bad, but then again I don’t because I don’t like him like that and he knows that. I hav know idea what to say to him now. He said he is all cool with it and, he says he still likes me and he wants to be with me and he is not going to give up, until I realize that he is the one for me. But I totally don’t see it . and I don’t know how to explain that I only just want to b friends. How can I say it in the best and nicest way possible without losing him as a friend?

You know how he feels for you and you don't feel the same way. You need to just be as honest and gentle as you can about this. He is not going to probably get the message if the two of you talk on the phone every night until 2 am. He is reading more into this stuff than you. You don't have to end the friendship, but I would cool it down moderately. And even though you don't like him that way, it would be nicer to not make out with a friend of his while he is just in another room. It can be very hurtful to walk in on something like that.

Easy
"I'm not interested in you as a boyfriend. I like having you as a friend. Besides, I can't really be friends with an ex, and i KNOW we aren't gonna get married. So like, lets just stay as friends and go on a girl hunt for you"

simple, blunt and to the point..thats how guys are..

1. Stop calling.

2. Don't take his phone calls.

3. End the friendship because he is obsessed and it's a lost cause.

You are NOT going to have "just a friendship" when his motive is to "make you change your mind". This is what we call passive-aggressive.

Pitch the friendship and move on -- it is NOT salvageable at this point.

It is spiraling into a HOT MESS!

Honesty is the best policy. Tell him you care deeply for him, but not in the way he wants. Let him know relationships come and go but friendship is forever

Don't say " I only want to be friends" or "I think it will ruin our friendship" Don't lie, guys can see right through that and it pisses us off. Just tell him that you aren't interested in dating him. End of story.

He's a guy, he'll get over it.

People say that, but they really don't stay friends after a break-up. It's best to find somebody new. Just tell him "I don't want to see you anymore."
