Yup, me and my husband were together for 3 years long distance (about 60 miles apart) while I was away at a different college. We got married as soon as we were able to live together, and we've been married 4 years! It's definitely a good sign!

Definately!
However - see how you get on when you are with each other every day, under each others feet. I had a long distance relationship for 3 years which was strong, because when you spend weekends together you can focus on fun things - but when you go on holiday or spend move in you suddenly have to deal with someones irritating little habits you don't see unless you are with them all the time.
But who can say? This could be forever!

come back when you have 2 years under your belt. either you will gotten tired of spending all that gas money or found a replacement closer to home or one of you decided to have ownership and moving closer.
However, if you think about it you dont have her in your daily business and have nice weekend get-aways that are refreshing and when you get home sunday night you can concentrate on the rest of the week, job, family, etc etc

that is actually a perfect distance. excuse not to allows be together but absolutely close enough, unless you're in a city with horrible traffic of course. if it's not a good sign (which i agree it is), it's certainly not bad.
