Give you a chance to do what? Be with him? Well if you really like him then I guess you have to prove it to him that your for real. Take it really slow. Like the other person said...he may be trying to just sleep with you, or he may really be sincere.
Take it slow, build trust, communication is key.... everything should work out fine.
