If you have a problem with trusting him well then you be answering your own question that maybe this relationship is over.
Is there any way you can tag along and why would his buddies be going unless work colleagues of course?. You have to ask yourself one big question is this relationship strong enough for him to go to these big cities and not be tempted it appears you may have already have had a problem with him cheating on you, if this is the case I would leave him and find a guy who wants to settle down with you 3yrs wow most people would already be married or atleast engaged? It sounds to me that you are just his play thing and leaving you for a week here or there he doesn't seem care. Alot of couples have spouses who travel but there usually is not a trust issue you have some serious problems to resolve. God Bless and Good Luck.

Dump him. You're already not comfortable with this idea, and he hasn't even started his new job! It's not going to work out. It's going to be as futile as trying to hold together a long distance "non" relationship.

Why are you with someone that you dont trust? This doesnt sound like a good realationship to me. If there is no trust break up and find someone that you can trust, it is as simple as that.
