I like this guy and were sort of friends but not all the way to that landmark yet. We sort of know eachother, but first I want to get closer to him before I make my move. How do I show him I like him, but still not going to far?

Softly. Dont rush on him, and dont rush things. I'm not sure what you mean by having him in the palm of your hands, but i'm not sure it'll be a good idea. Give him time, and get to know him. Be natural, let things come as they will. -Yet dont move too slow before it's too late-. Ask him out, to some place where there'll be other people, like with a group of friends, advantage in that is that at least you'll start talking easily and all. Ask him to talk about himself, -guys love that ;)- and you know, just use your natural beauty, your inner charm, we all have that.:) Talking to him you might find some similar interests, which can lead to another meeting, who knows what could be from there? good luck.
