Like a pond ,a single drop can create a ripple. There are lot of things that you can do to make a difference. By being a good citizen , you can be an example to your community. Or you can organize a group in your community that would have a worthy cause. It would be best to start with the youth and get support from your local politicians.

Start by attending your local City Council meetings weekly, where the groups that are involved in the community usually attend. There is always room for one more !

By caring and acting on it. One person can cause more people to help if they reach out. It only takes one person to start the chain reaction to help a community.

Start a Neighborhood Watch and watch your neighbors grow closer over time, and create a safer environment! I did! And it was worth every minute spent! The bonds of friendship endure to this day...not only did it change our block and every one on it's lives, but it also gave something back to me and my spirit!
