There are so many things that I am to my six year old, more than she knows... but what she is to me- is the meaning of my exhistance, my reason for being. How could any parent feel differently??

You're so sweet! I think most parents feel that way. There are the lousy parents who feel their children are burdens - they shouldn't have procreated in the first place.

Some parents have children for the wrong reasons. For instance, so that they them selves can feel love. therefore they feel differently then you about being a parent. especially when times are tough!
It is a great thing that you are so involved in her life. You are a wonderful parent...I can tell.

I dont know how one could feel differently but I see horrible parents every day (I work at the mall!) dont forget, you're also a dr, nurse, coach.....

i dont know BUT i have realized that some do. I dont understand how some people live with themselves if they dont feel this way.
