Like they say, "if you can't get him out of your mind, maybe he's meant to be there". I say don't forget about him. I tried to do that, got with someone else, and now I find out the first guy really loves me. Now it's causing relationship problems because I'm still not over him, especially now I find out he loves me. So I say let whatever happens happen.
BUT, if you still wanna get over him, lie to yourself and tell yourself you don't need him. Go to the mall or some social place and spot cute guys or something, convince yourself you don't even like the guy.
But that's only if you choose to forget him.
^_^

I had a girl going through this exact situation with me being the him. Infact I almost wonder if you are not her based on these comments lol. Anyway... I have told her to move on and you just need to do the same. It's hard to not think about someone you have deep feelings for. The best way is to go out and meet new people and find someone else who can occupy your thoughts instead of this past lover. If that is too much for you right now then just go out with friends and have a good time or find yourself a hobby or something you can dedicate your free time to. That way you can occupy your free time with your new hobby instead of thoughts of this past lover, and who knows, maybe your new found hobby will lead you to a new love as well :)
Good Luck!

Welcome to the world of young love---millions belong to the club. Girls are emotional creatures and that is why you feel the way you do---guys are different--not all that emotional so it explains the rocky feelings. And Valentines Day is a pressure, stressful time---can make for a lot of saddness , dispair, and hard feelings. If you were meant for this guy--it would happen---sounds like you need to face reality----crying??? Sorry but you need to work that out--you'll get over this---too many other problems in life to be so upset by a simple boy issue---good luck and put an end to the drama--not at all necessary

You are not alone , my ex dumped me for a real selfish reason and I think about her everyday. i miss her , still love her and I prayed too....But remember this.Sometimes when you think God isn't listening He is loud and clear..We just don't want to hear Him....It's been 2 years since we broke up she e-mails me sometimes and has said she wants a physical relationship but no committment.......I said NO... Believe it or not, I wouldn't lower myself to her standards of what a relationship is....
You will get over it....hang out with your girlfriends , have fun and meet other people..There is someone for you ...Save your love for a guy you deserves you....
You mentioned Valentine's Day ...Her birthday is on the same day .......I'll be alone too ..but...I have my integrity.
Here's a kiss and a hug ...Happy Valentines Day !

Us guys are simple. All you have to do is ask him to tell you the truth. Do you find me attractive? If he says yes, then ask him out on something little like coffee, and just talk to him. If not coffee, then try hot chocolate, its still cold out nowadays. Then, somewhere in your conversation you let him know your feelings, something like, "You know, when i first saw you, I had this little crush on you." Watch his reaction and what he says. He'll ask you out on a date by the time your little outings over or let you know if he's not interested. If he's not interested, then hey, at least you know the truth, and that's more than what you knew before. Good luck.

Quit putting all your prayers on this guy. If it happens it happens. Dont walk around blindly so you cant see people around you that really do care and/or want you. God knows what you want and what you need, so pray a praise to jesus and for thanks of whay you already got and let time do its thing.
