How obese are you? If you are overally obese, then yes, more than likely your gall bladder is acting up. What are you eating that gives you the pain right after. Fatty foods often trigger the gall bladder to over produce enzymes to break the fat down in the liver, but if you have stones or sludge in your gall bladder, which most fat people do, then they are blocking the enzymes from leaving the gall bladder. However, the pain you described sounds more like a hernia...especially if you swell up in one area and look pregnant. Any pain on the high right side could be liver, gall bladder or pancreas. Good luck

If it was not the gall bladder then for the muscles in the shoulder and sides the most concise and complete information I can recommend is The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
Hoping all was well

I had my gallbladder taken out and the reason that got me to the doctor in the first place was chest pain. Well, that's what I thought it was. It was on my right upper side so I assumed it was chest pain. However, if I could take it back I would. Ever since the surgery, I have had bathroom problems, if you know what I mean. Everything I eat seems to go right through me. It sucks.

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND OUT,BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN GOING THRU THE SAME THING FOR A FEW MONTHS.
FRIENDS HAVE TRIED TO GET ME TO GO THE DR,BUT I AM STUBBORN.
RATHER SELF MEDICATE,THAN TO FIND OUT WHATS WRONG..
I GET SO BAD THAT ALL I WANT TO DO IS STAY IN BED..
EITHER WAY GOOD LUCK
