your gonna need like 3 amps its got like 5000 rms and you have to at least put 3000 rms on that sub
MTX TA92001
it cost 1k on ebay but its rms is 3k at 1 ohm
or you can buy 2 zx2500 kicker amps their 750 on ebay
or find 2 2500 rms amps or like 4 1000 watt amps or like 3 1500 watt amps get mono block amps though
my suggestion i have no idea on any other kind of amps thatll power that dont buy a cheap amp though you prolly bough the sub fopr a grand so dont buy a cheap amp like a lanzar legacy predator or hyfonics (id say directed mtx or kicker amps only)
2 down
yea but the 12 in solo x is only 3000k solo x the 15 is 5000k rms

Well,my 2400w Lanzar Amp Toasted multiple so-called "Power-Handling" Subwoofers i've had if that helps! People may say that it's not a good brand, but other than the soft, weak "Big" Speakers i've had,you really can't go wrong with that brand,i've had mines a year and some today and still in brand new condition,I just need to find a actual speaker that can handle that type of Raw Power. :( But that's to say your sub can handle that...

well johndoe is right (except i'd have to disagree and say that Hifonics amps are not cheap)
a couple of those kickers he mentioned or a Hifoncs XX-Goliath which puts out 5000 watts RMS at 1 ohms, is 1600 dollars.
expect to pay between 1500-1700 just for an amp to power that, not to mention an alternator upgrade and probably a battery upgrade or multiple batteries as well.
that is one serious setup man
