I hear your complaint by so many women. I have two daughters = 13 and 17 and I dread when they start dating or seriously looking for a significant other. My wife and I always tell them that men will treat them the way they act. This is not to imply that you have done anything wrong to precipitate the immature treatment. In stead, I simply mean that if you carry yourself in a mature way and make it clear to possible boyfriends that there are some things you will not tolerate then you might be able to advert some negative experiences with some guys. Yes there are but you have to let go of some of the outward apperances so many guys may be goodlooking etc. but well alot of them are just inmature and well self-absorbed if you want a guy who is mature look for someone that is smart and funny rather then the guy that has the nice butt. I'm not saying you have to find a geek or a nerd but be open to expanding the guys you look for. Good Luck in your Search and remember the cute guys usually want the arm candy and not the commitment type. One other thing don't place all your time on the skinny hot guys because you may already know of someone but have never thought of him in this way because he may have a gut or glasses etc. Most people don't realize that some the relationships that are based on looks alone well its a shallow life.

Yes there are mature guys out there but the real question is what are you looking for? A mature guy might not be it? You may want a hot looking young guy that is mature and that is tough to find. You may try looking in the 21 year old arena, but girl, there is one thing on a 21 year old guys mind and its not maturity! Be careful and consider widening your age criteria to the 25 year old range you may find a change in your date's focuses. Good luck!

Oh please...like anyone male or female are mature at 21. They are still going out partying trying to 'find themselves in the world'...And it's not like men are the only ones that "play games and stupid petty crap!"
I'd suggest you're perhaps looking in the wrong locations.

Those are very rare creatures. I was mature beyond my years at that age, but I had been working in an office enviroment since I was 18 and everyone I worked with was older than me. I kinda had to grow up quick and didn't have time to act like an immature jackass-plus it wouldn't be tolerated by any of my friends and coworkers (because everyone of them was older-in some cases old enough to be my parent). Good luck finding one.

Yes tehre are mature men out there, but at 21 you're lucky to find a guy who knows what he wants.
but in order to have "mature" man, YOU need to be mature to. And that means you have to understand how a man works in order to date him. You have to know that pouting and nagging, and using sex as a tool, never gets you anything...

Yeah, I'm tired of all the immature and passive ladies that play games, too. You know why we won't ever have a woman president? Because if women are too chicken to ask a guy out on a date, how can we have confidence in them that they can make tough decisions when it comes to lives and the economy?! I'm 28 and had guys as friends and my share of dating..it never gets better..they are always going to be immature in some ways...The difference is when they grow up enough to know when to be immature and when not to be..
