All my freinds tell me to talk to him but I freeze up when I try and I held his hand once but it was on accdient and he's a player so he's always between girlfriends.
But he's really amazing and I can't get over him, and now i don't even see him that often.

just go up and say hey. try to give him a few hints that you are interested. if he is smart enough he will pick up that you like him the second you come up to say hi. but if that doesnt work try to hint around that you arent doing anything this weekend. or that you are going to some event after school and have no one to go with. just try to drop something and see if he picks them up, if he does then you are golden...hope that helps

Oh a simple hello starts it off real nice. First--make yourself approachable--second-- is he really a player?? Does that guy belong in your life?? You want to be an ex like all the others---sounds creepy to me--find a nice guy and have fun, it doesn't seem like a real good idea to pursue this guy who seems to lack any respect for girls at this time---you deserve better than that. when you build up the courage to go up to him and say hi and introduce yourself. find out his interests and start a conversation. but dont change your interests for a guy.
