You should find the time when she is alone. Don't go up to her with her friends around, she might reject you in front of them and then they'll talk about you when you are leaving. Don't be so forward with her about your feelings. You should ask her about the homework assignment that you have together for the same class, even if you know it already.

It is better you are alone - for both of your sakes. I think if you really can't catch her alone then, as you say, you should go up to her in front of her friends and ask to talk privately. How she reacts might answer how she feels about you, one way or another. If she does seem upset if you talk to her in front of her friends, don't get overly worried - she may just be shy. If she doesn't want to talk privately, watch to see if she tries to be alone another time. She may just not want her friends to know that she is interested.
Good luck!

Don't go up to her when she's with all of her friends. That's a no-no. If you're going to get shot down, at least it could just be with her and not a group.
If you really can't catch her before or after school you could try that last move you mentioned. But honestly, she might be overwhelmed by it since it's so unexpected.
You might want to ask some of your friends if they recognize that girl. At least you could get a name or they might even know what classes she's in.
Good luck.

Dude, go up to her when she is with her friends and ask her out! It's perfect! For one thing, no one does it because they are too chicken to do it. Thus, if you do it, you'll get major kudos for your confidence--and girls dig this! If she shoots you down in front of her friends, guess what? You probably will have impressed her other girl friends that witnessed this, so I imagine they would like to go out with you even if she doesn't. Whatever happens, you'll come out looking sauve and cool.

i think it depends on which makes you most comfortable. if you think it would be embarassing to go up to her and her friends wait until shes alone like if she starts walking towards a class alone. if shes never alone, then maybe you can talk to her then and there or ask to talk in private. you might also be able to see her during lunch?

Aw, that's sweet.
Approach her when she's alone.
But if you're really confident and don't feel intimidated by her friends being there, there's no reason you can't talk to her in front of them.
Go for it whenever you feel comfortable! There's no right or wrong way.
Good luck! I hope it works out for you!

I've been in your place before and i know how you feel....it would be nice to go up and talk to her one on one but if shes always with her freinds then you got to do what you gotta do...just work up the confidence and talk to her.....you never know until you try "No Guts No Glory"

Wait for the right time. Wait until she is alone, she may be very embarrassed in front of friends.
