such as I met this guy, and we talked for about a good 2 months and I found out that he lied to me about everything, and whats funny is that obviously this guy is infatuated with his cousin, because all what he told me was based his cousin's lyfestyle, more over I saw no point him having to lie to me. when I told him from jump I cant stand a liar. if you lie you will just push me away and thats what he did,.U feel me?

That's sad that he kept lying to you. A lot of people lie about themselves because they don't like themselves or they feel that they're life is not worth another's acceptance. That's why it is so important to know yourself and be proud of who you are. I hope you find someone truthful and confident in your next relationship.

Sometimes people are not really happy with their lives, they do live vicariously like the guy you met..he may have never thought you'd talk to him if you knew he wasn't as cool as you may have wanted him to be.......Cut him some slack....forgive him for what he did and if you have feelings for him start again ..
we all want honesty in our relationships...All of us hate liars, and people who FRONT....But the sad thing is that we are all liers, we all front and we are all human.......
Try to turn this aroundthis guy was so into you that he did anything to get next to you , yes he was wrong, but think about it ......Give him a chance .......Tell him you know the truth......start over again......

I hear ya. You also have to think like this too, you may think you know someone when you really don't. He must not have known you would see he was a liar, or maybe he didn't care. He just wanted someone to talk to.

Mistaken identity. He must idolize his cousin and want to be like him, therefore, he feels better when he portrays himself to be just like him. Usually a sign of a compulsive liar. Beware...sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders if you are rid of him:-)

I think that people pretend to be someone they're not to try and impress others.
