I honestly shouldn't even be answering this question because it takes an ignorant and uninformed person to ask this. Islam is a peaceful religion and the Qu'ran is not violent any more than the bible is. I think it's funny that you even are condeming this when you are probably a Christian and follow Jesus who was a JEW.

was Mohammad's actions really that violent, In reading on the life of Mohammad, his actions were not violent. If you analyse history Tyrannts are remembered as such, even that long ago.

However, (and just like in Christianity) some people hear the messages in very fundamental ways, and use those messages against sin to commit sin against "sinners"..

There is peace in both messages...and 95% of the people out there can find that peace. BUT...the 5% of the people who interpret something else make it hard for the rest of the main stream..

He taught peace and harmony, and Jihaad was against those who attacked them.

Will a boxer let someone attack him and not use his defensive skills ? I think not.

Same concept with this, anyone attacks their religion, they strike back.

He taught peace to be with everyone, and treat everyone equally and with respect, and that Humans are the best of ALLAH SWT'S creations.
