Ummm... no. Your body is punishing you for being drunk. When you consume alcohol you dehydrate because ethanol is a diuretic. Dehydration causes the brain to shrink away from the skull slightly. When one is drinking, the blood vessels in the face, the capillaries, will dilate, giving the person a flushed appearance. When the hangover starts, the capillaries will close up again, contributing to the headache and fatigue that is often experienced in a hangover. People experiencing hangovers will often feel cold. This is because alcohol gives the person a type of hypothermia in which body heat is given off too rapidly, due to the increased blood flow to the skin.
So really, you should be blaming yourself for how you feel the next morning, and not God.

No, its your punishing your self for no longer ingesting a sprint greater water. Alcohol is a reasonably stable diuretic and quite some the hangover headache is do to being dehydrated. you will desire to drink a pitcher or 2 of water earlier passing out and you'd be able to dodge quite some the headache. you will nonetheless be valueless yet in much less soreness.

deux: I'm a Christian and a "child of God" . When I overly imbibe of alcohol I will suffer a hangover ! Now; does this mean God is punishing me or is it self-inflicted? Remember; God IS in the saving business - not the "I'm going to get them" business !!!

That is why the hangover was created, to punish gluttony.
Just remember, God also created the glass of water and that aspirin that you should take before you sleep, to fight that hangover ;)

no,
people punish themselves with hangovers for getting drunk.
I believe it is called "voluntary" when you know beforehand what is going to happen and then do it anyway.
kinda like people sending themselves to Hell when, after they have heard the Good News of Jesus Christ, they harden their heart to God and refuse His Gift of eternal life with him.
foolish choices both.

You made the choice to drink to excess and cause yourself a hangover.
Its simple cause and effect of alcohol on the body. Since when is that a punishment?

I never thought of it that way, but maybe that's why we always say 'I'll never drink again God, if you make this hangover go away now'
Your smart.

God is not in the business of punishing anyone. We do it to ourselves.
