I lost a Verizon Motorola RAZR V3m Silver and need it back badly. If anyone knows how to locate it I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks

Go to a police station, ask them to call the phone and track it like they do in the movies!

It all depends on if you have GPS on your phone. If you do, do you have it set to Location On or 911 only.

Now if you know it is stolen for a fact, you can call the police and say that it's your child's cell phone, who ran away and your trying to locate them. Just makeup some sort of story so they can find the location of the phone. Or if you just want to be an ***, call up and report a missing person who was lost in the woods or something, that way you have the police show up at their location.

Or if there have been any calls made from the phone, what you do is call up your service provider and tell them it was stolen (so you want to ensure no calls are made from it and this can be temp or permanently), but also have them tell you all of the phone calls sent and received from the phone, also have them take a look at the text/pix/flix messages, and what they said. Also, if you really want to narrow down your search (if you have sketchy friends and you also have a suspects list) of all the pages and data transfered from the phone if it used the Internet on the phone.

I recorded a sound on my phone of me saying, "Listen up mother f@rker, I know you have my f@ckin` phone and you must be a moron because you obviously don't know how tech-savvy I am, and that I will be able to find you. Return my phone, or else me or the police will coming to you. Oh yea, and just because the phone is turned off doesn't mean GPS is off." and set it at as a ring-tone for my house phone. Since all my family members have cell phones and there isn't a single reason to ever call my phone from the house, the only time this ringtone would be heard is if my phone was stolen. (Also set it as private so it can't be erased)

Hope that this helps, or will in the future. ^_^

Well no such luck. There is no GPS with the phone. Cuz if it had one, you could leave the phone on and find out where it was. Otherwise, just report it to the police in case it is ever recovered. That way if the guy gets stopped and sent to jail and they record the cell phone then you will find out who stole it. I hope you had insurance.

Now you might leave it on for a day or two then call Verizon and see what numbers have been called from it. Then you can call the numbers and ask around. The police are not going to triangulate it unless it was used in a bank robbery or if you are going out with the police cheif's kid.

If and when your contract runs out, go Cricket or Pocket for the best rates. UNLIMITED MINUTES

Your cell company would have to track it. But the only reason why'd they ever track your phone is if the law where after you. Cell phones when on and activated, even if your not making a call or receiving one, are built nowadays to give off this ping, sorta like a I'm over here dot, that towers pick up send to a satelite and pinpoint it. So talk to your cell company, if they say no, then your just out of luck.

just ask my gf. she has done it all. and i have always known and i let her. i just wish she would ask because the answer would be yes anyways. however, i did tell her this - it is a two-way street - one cannot TAKE info and not give in return and i have told her ENUFF is ENUFF. today, i came thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis close to pulling the plug - there is no more room for such behaviour - it is unacceptable. so, the next time, i ask her to call me, email me, IM me, see me face to face and i get the same SILENCE treatment i have been receiving - that's it for this cowboy. when someone has been told time and time again what is needed to be in a healthy relationship, what is important to them, when they have been shown that the other has done everything asked and they refuse - then its time they took a good look in the mirror and ask themselves - if i really love this person would i be doing this? the answer is clear.

I don't think so.. You could probably call verizon and ask them if they have the locator thing on it... if not. then you might as well just freeze your account and get a new phone with a new sim card..

dont cancel the service. when you get your next bill check the calls made. chances are lots of calls to the same number. find out who the person receiving the calls is. then call the cops.

If your phone has GPS technology in it, have it activated by your carrier. It will cost you a couple bucks, but if the phone is on, you can track it.
