Congratulations on having a nice mature question for a change--shows you are thoughtful and respectful--certainly very mature. You will have to be the sole juge of what you are asking---the hard part is deciding --so just pick an opportune time to see if she is available and willing to take the time for a date---some students are very busy or they don't want to date at this time--you won't know till you ask. It is a 50/50 chance---so ask and take the answer as it comes--not at all a big problem---just don't act disappointed because you have to see her in school anyway. Keep the dates easy, and casual--all nice fun---NO PRESSURE. Have fun and good luck--stand tall and SMILE

There is no definite amount of time that you should wait. You can probably ask her out for coffee after only one or two conversations and for dinner after the coffee. Good luck!

There isn't a time limit, but I would start with coffee, maybe after the second conversation. But if you guys really hit it off you don't have to wait to ask her out. You sound like a really sensitive guy and should be able to make the right move at the right time.Good luck to you.

Dont wait to long & keep it simple, reason im saying this is my 16 year old son had his eye on a girl to ask out & he left it to long cuz hes shy & now shes taken by someone else, just get it over with if she says yes to either coffee, movie or dinner then jump for joy, but if she says no then just accept it & move on but dont leave it to late, theres no hard & fast rules on time frames with asking a girl out.

I WANT to wait no more than a week of knowing her, more than three or four instances of hanging out with her. Or at least make my intentions well known. But usually it ends up being a month, and things get complicated, and I get 'friendzoned'. But yeah, it just depends on how much interest the guy has, and how soon he is willing to bite the bullet.

Get to know her for a few days. A lot of guys don't even care about getting to know the girl, you should wait at least a week to get to know her. Just because she's pretty doesn't mean her personality's appealing and the same for you. You've got to make sure that she knows you and how great of a guy you are, haha. Good luck!

There is nothing wrong with asking someone out to coffee , so go for it right away! You can explain that you are wanting to get to know them better when you ask, and then you will probably get your answer right away. Either she will say yes if shes interested, and no if she isn't. Life is way too short, so I say go for it!!! Good luck.

If you say hi and she smiles . I would wait about 1min. 3 sec.
Try and go for the late night homework thing lol. Anyway , stop wondering if she will or wont . She can only say no.
Better to say no now than to sweat over it for gosh knows how long to hear it later.,

Well if you dont know her at all i would wait a while, but if you do know her and especially if your friends i would ask her out to whatever. You need to just go for it (here is what happend to me) well to make a long story short i like a girl and i waited to ask her out because i didnt know if she liked me and i finally did and i then found out that she had like me for as long as i liked her (does that make sence?) and we are still together to this day!! Go for it Man
