Removing Music Match Jukebox should not effect the sound. I'm an IT consultant and I have removed that program from countless PCs (I hate how it comes bundled on new PCs). You could try reinstalling your sound card drivers after removing Music Match and even reinstalling Windows Media Player. I'd check and see if the sound problem only happens in Windows Media player or not by playing music from some other program like iTunes, Real Player, or Winamp. Never heard of that happening before.

just goto control panel add/remove programs

if your windows media player sounds bad try one of the following:
-make sure u have the most recent version
-check your sound card, u might have the settings messed up or maybe just a crappy card
-check your speakers

Why don't you see if there's a newer version of Media Player.. I believe they just came out with one. It would install over the old one - hey, you never know.......
