16:30 is a very good high school time. 15:07 really harry? You know in the last 10 years only 13 runners in the nation have broken 15. Depending on the meet and conditions and what the course is like a 16:30 should usually get you in the top 5 in invitationals. All our courses were very hilly but I guess if you get on a flat course a 16:30 would turn into 15:45's. My best time was 15:39 my Junior year before I broke my foot and then got plantar Fasceitis two months after it healed. Good luck and continue your training. 16:30 will seem slow then.

I definitly don't, but 2 of the guys on my xc team do-they're ranked pretty close to the top in the state. If I remember correctly, the reason they aren't first and second is because both of them had the flu the day of the state meet; they had horrible luck in getting sick that day.

I never kept my times. I loved counting the people as I passed them, then I realized I had no one left to count. :) I miss my school days
My sister was one of the top in New Jersey, and well I was going to flow in that direction, BUT AHH High School, and smoking and loser friends. Bad choice, but whatever. I run again now thats all that matters
