What kind of image are they trying to give to the people of the United States? Can democrats at least understand why people are questioning their loyalty to the country? By having a Hezbollah imam lead the democrats in prayer is a bit strange and it leads people to ask questions on where their allegiance is.

John Kerry meeting with the former president of Iran and calling us a pariah. I think it's a valid question to ask where their allegiance is.

Because Ayman al Zawahri loves them maybe?
Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
Brian Ross and Hoda Osman Report:
Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.
"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones
Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

I believe that the Demo's which I have taken to call myself is that this world is not as important as a man's own soul, but in which I'm saying for my own party that I think it is good to be cautious in a time of war, in a time of crisis.
Once something is already decided on doing if the decision you make has consequences it will alway's get worse before it get's better. So no matter what the religion or what party you belong to
treating people with respect is considered Love in God's eye's.

Democrats are in with the terrorist, why else would they ask this person to lead the prayer? If it was for the sake of being PC, would you rather be PC or have your country taken over by our enemy? If that happens I guarantee the enemy won't be PC.

Can't answer this kind of question without seeing the source -- seems like you are playing a bit with words here -- first you say "pro Hezbollah" which bears investigation as what he said to make him be labled as such. Then you say he is a "Hezbollah inam" which idicates he is a member of that organization, which hardly seems likely.

They didn't. They had an imam lead the prayer, but not a HEZBOLLAH imam -- huge difference. The prayer was led by Husham Al-Husainy, imam of the Karbalaa Islamic Education Center in Dearborn, Michigan.
As for why they would have ANY imam lead them in prayer? Because they recognize that this country values Freedom of Religion more than it values fear tactics and bigotry.

In any case, I doubt that Democratic representitives would be meeting with Hezbollah (hell, we have only one Moslem senator) for prayer. Hezbollah and the Democratic party tend not to side with each other.
I personally support Hezbollah, it is a great resistance organization, they fight only when attacked (http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,,1839244,00.html ) and they are rebuilding Lebanon, you can't say any of that for the IDF.
