that is ALLLLLLLLLLL BS. Tons of adware ,virii and other problems. Do this instead :
Go to www.utorrent.com, completely free and easy to use
Then go to isohunt.com , piratebay.org and other sites to find backups of the LEGAL material that you own. Don't download any of the tens of thousands of other materials that you don't own, that's not legal.
By the way, what do you mean by Sony Walkman ? A regular CD player ? Any files you download can easily be burned to a CD that will play for you. If you mean MiniDisc, just throw it out, it's so terrible, don't even try using a minidisc.
OK peace I'm out

Is anything that's fun legal? I like both programs, I don't think we are really allowed to download files from either, some consider it stealing music and money from the artist and record company's Pockets. I promise I won't download any music and then make hundreds of thousands of copies to sell on town square or outside their concerts, but I still think they don't want us to do it. I don't know Sony Walkman, but if it's USB then these programs have nothing to do with putting MP3 or WMA files on a portable device, most are just drag and drop as the device shows up like another drice on your computer.

I have used both. Of the two I prefer BearShare personally. When you pay the downloads work better. It's proprietary software and installs on your computer. It is easy to use. Im not sure that the program will work on the walkman. They are designed to download programs, movies, mp3's.

My Dear Friend,
First of all, Limewire is Hard Spyware. It will demolish your entire computer system and throw all your personal information on share...I request you NOT TO USE LIMEWIRE AT ALL.
Better to use Bit-torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.
Take care of your computer more...It will take care of you in coming days.
Expecting Success...Always.

I'm sure it is illegal. I never dealt with bearshare, but limewire is loaded with spyware, adware and viruses. It messed up my computer bad. Warez did too.

The programs are legal.
Any copyrighted music you download is illegal.
Stick to mp3 files, and use your common sense, always scan files BEFORE playing!
