I have never used this before and this year I sold my vacation home and have to claim capital gains , which Turbo Tax system do I buy? Oh I also don't itemize deductions, I use the standard deduction.

The first poster is probably correct. It is hard for me to understand how you could have owned a vacation home yet still used standard deductions with no interest payments on a primary home mortgage or real estate taxes to itemize but it can depend on your financial situation and sate you live in..

Start by clicking on Deluxe Deduction Maximizer for $29.95. If you get through all of the interview process using only a 1040 EZ, then go back and use Basic program which is for 1040EZ only and a few other simple forms.

Your best bet is to go online & start answering the questions...at the end, it will tell you how much you owe for the program that was used. It' super easy, quick, and convenient.
