Ok, so there's this guy...
We had to work on something together the other day, and he barely said two words to me... I mean, if I pushed the conversation, then he'd talk and talk, but once I stopped asking questions, he didn't say a WORD! He was nice enough, he joked around when we did talk, and wasn't mean or anything, but is he just not interested?
We went for, like, forty minutes not saying a single word to each other... I got so depressed about it that I walked away, and did something else, cuz I thought I was annoying him or something...
Then he left, when I had my back turned, without telling me...

I'm pretty sure he knows I like/love him... This girl that I knew told him that I thought he was "hot..." lol, I've even told him myself...

Ok, so maybe I talk too much, but I listen as well... I only ask him about HIMSELF, I don't talk about ME!!! I hate it when there's no conversation going at all with someone, and it's dead silence... How can you get to know someone, if you don't TALK!!!

Sounds like he was shy around you. He probably likes you but is afraid he will say something stupid. We only become mute around girls when we like them alot. Back in my shy days i would act the same way. If i just liked them as a friend i would talk like it was one of my male friends.
The 40 minutes of silence probably made him feel you didn't want him being there. You dont spend that much time being nice just to leave without saying goodbye.

All depends on the guy... but from this I can give my best guess that he is unaware of your feelings towards him and he is shy. It's also possible that he MAY not like you and does not want to be mean or just wanted a friend.

You sound like me - you talk too much. A lot of people are happy just being with someone - they don't need to talk. Don't worry! If it's meant to be it will be.

Maybe he was just working? If a guy likes you they will show it...they will do something anything to be near or around you. Thnk of men like little puppies, if they like you they want to be with you cause you're fun and they want to play cause you want to play...but if they dont like you they'll find something else to play with/be with...
If a guy/puppy likes you...you'll know it!
