Does this mean she has some sort o STD, or is it just some infection?? please help i am really worried

This could be nothing but an inflammed taste bud. I wouldn't worry too much.

If there is reason to suspect an STD, she should see her Dr.

Usually an STD, such as herpes, would burst and turn into red sores.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions, wait a few days. If it subsides, there is nothing to worry about. If it doesn't or turns into a red sore she should see a Dr.

Yah - see the Dr if she is worried. I get them sometimes when I eat too much chocolate, or "heaty" foods - and when I was a kid my mum told me it was because I lied !

i got one of those from too much vitamin c, too much acid in the system..
if she is worried, she should see the dr..
