I am getting out of the army in 2 weeks and am moving across the country. I cannot take my 2 kitties with me and need to find them a good home. I got them about a year ago and at the time did not know that i would be getting out of the military so soon and would have to move. I absolutely do NOT want to take them to a shelter but its getting to the point where i dont have a choice. i am going to be living with my family (some of whom are allergic to cats) and this is why i cannot keep them. it breaks my heart that i have to give them up but i have no other choice. all my friends are either already in iraq or getting ready to go back, so they cannot take them either. If anyone wants or knows someone who wants 2 kitties please let me know and i have all paperwork proving tests, neutering, and shots are up to date. I am willing to meet up with anyone who is willing to take them in . Im not looking for any $, just want them to have a good home with someone who loves them as much as i do.

The older cat is named Buddie, he is about 16 months old and a dark grey tabby with a white underside and likes to do somersaults, Panda is ... you guessed it... white with large black spots and about 11 months old and likes to curl against your side and sleep... he also purrs whenever he eats something.

To answer your question, both are male and both are neutered. Buddie is 16 months and Panda is 11 months. They are both mixed short hairs. Buddie is a dark grey tabby with bengal-like spots and a white underside and a white stripe down his nose. Panda is white with black spots, half his face is white, half his face is black. Buddie likes to "talk" to you and "plays tag" if you chase him up the hallway, he'll chase you back down, when playing he does somersaults. Panda's a very calm cat who likes to curl up by you and will purr himself to sleep. They both like sleeping in windowsills and watching the birds outside. Panda even likes going on walks on a leash around the yard. Both are a little shy at first but warm up very quickly. They're great with children, Panda likes to sleep at babies' feet. Neither are declawed, but they don't scratch at furniture. We have a scratching post for them, and thats the only place they scratch. They play well together and warm up quickly to other anima

please try the pet co stores and see if they are set up for adoption indianapolis has this and I beleive columbus indiana does to called the care group. also pet smart.call all the vets or fax them info and a picture for thier bulliten boards. at least you will know they at least use a vet if they see your flier. screen the people who take them and make sure they are HOME OWNERS because alot of renters when moving get into places that dont allow pets and than BINGO they are in need of a home again and beleive it or not cats are independant and do not like change. they like to be content. Just explain the situation to these places. Good luck. we just went to the southside indianapolis animal no kill shelter and got my daughter a cat. there was over 100 cats there some were half blind some not adopable to old. persians main coons and short hairs. It was very sad And I cried. we did find one and they do the neuter and spay and shots and 1 vet visit and a bag of food. So we did save one little life but so many were left.good luck and be carefull who gets them Its always good to neuter and spay to prevent this from happening to animals who depend on humans to care for them and there are people who actually look for cats and dogs to abuse and control

Hi,
What part of Ga do you live in now? What type of kitties do you have? Could you give a little more info about them..such as ages, sex, personality, and if they are good with other pets or children.

I also would suggest a great website called Freecycle...it is a grassroots project to give things away rather then throwing them away. It is great and completly free!

Post an ad at your vet's office because sometimes people will be willing to adopt your babies if your vet says they are fit little ones
