there are some days more wicked than other days on here. It really depends on who is logged on. Don't become discouraged. There are some very good people here and there are some very bad ones

There's a huge difference between bashing religion and bashing its followers.
Religion, as a belief, is NOT immune to criticism, scrutiny, or even ridicule. If you see an attack on your religion as a personal attack, it's your own fault, as it is your own insecurity in your beliefs.
Insulting Other Participants is an abuse for a reason. In an open forum, civil discourse is key. You cannot have civil discourse by having ad hominem ("to the person" in Latin, a fallacy meaning to insult the person making the argument) attacks being thrown.
If you can't take the heat, leave. This site isn't "Christians Only". Your beliefs WILL be challenged and/or ridiculed here whether you like it or not.

I have found some really good answers, especially people I have communicated briefly through e-mail. I found those people quite informative. Others have given me information I found helpful on Yahoo.I don't like some of the question or answers. It shocks me so many are so hateful toward God, but it is their choice. I like the connections I have been able to make with some really intelligent people as well as Christians.

I think it actually stopped a few days ago when everyone decided to make it a "Bash N Report" forum. I have been at it for the past few days with Yahoo myself as they seem to be violating you simply because you asked or honestly answered a Christian question. Obviously, I will be leaving Y!A for that reason.

Let's turn back the clock even further. This place stopped being a place to ask questions about religion when it became a place to preach religion. Where preaching a particular god/religion exists in a public forum, it usually invites the criticism from those that do not like religion or those who believe in different gods/religions.

You can ask questions. It's unfortunate society today doesn't place a very high value on religious beliefs. I'm really shocked to so many non-believers. If they don't want to attend Sunday services then just stay home, but to give up a belief in God!
I attend every Sunday!

The day after the board opened. Unfortunately, many people believe strongly in something, but are not educated enough to discuss alternate ideas without feeling threatened. When a person feels threatened, they take the offensive in the name of their God(s). This pattern plays itself out time and again through history - and probably will until the end of the earth.

Yep. I guess you were wrong. Unfortunately, when you get too many people of different belief systems together that each teach their way is the only way, you're gonna get bashing. There's really no way around that.

You ARE wrong, cause it was just as bad last August, when you joined the fray. I remember cause I was here then under another name. This place is full of nothing but angry atheists and know-it-all christians. I've been both myself, one time or another.

I think you are wrong. People can ask whatever they want. Your question isn't even about religion. If you consider a different opinion "bashing" you should ask all of your questions at your church. Surley they will not take part in "bashing".
