Heh, you know they cannot. They resort to trying to demonize the All-Father, claiming he's one of their demons when Odin actually far pre-dates their God.

And Palomnik is correct, mocking Odin would be a terrible mistaken.

Thank you for asking this!
I've gotten into this argument more times than I can count.

We can't definitively prove whether ANY of them do or don't exist.
Which is why I'm currently an agnostic Wiccan Buddhist.
(I know, it confuses me too. At least I'm not dyslexic, then I might be wondering whether there's a dog. :-)

Atheists refer to Russell's teapot and the Invisible Pink Unicorn as examples of things that we can't prove don't exist. I was on ISCA BBS during the time the IPU thought-experiment came about and from what I remember the discussion there was generally good-natured.

Why is it that outside of academia, it so often turns into a debate over whose deity can beat up whose?

No one every said Odin doesn't exist, but like Paul pointed out to the Corinthians that one supreme God is the Creator of the Universe. All other gods are not Gods in that sense. If Odin can do anything my God can't undo, then we should acknowledge him as Supreme. For 6,000 years all other gods have failed.

I gather you are non Christian. If you are they exist and it makes you doubt? Pagans that exist i know i feel something evil in my presents. Love the battle to struggle these obsoutes of their believes Christian or not there has to be separation between us.but i do like the pagan protrayal in movies ,tv books etc there is an excitement like some horror to get good information that keeps me going and glad i,m a Christian. This may not make sense to lot of you...Who Cares.

I'll prove to you that Odin doesn't exist if you can prove to me that you're not a nut!.... Does that sound fair?

We're done with the "Prove To Me" business. God requires us to accept everything by faith. And you now must do so as well. If you are in need of physical proof then you might as well stop asking Christians for it and make up your own mind. We can only give you answers based on God's word, which again, we accept by faith. Anything else and you're not going to accept it anyway.

All of Odin's followers abandoned Odin for Jesus back in medieval times, and Odin did nothing about it.

Jeremiah 16:20
Can man make gods for himself? Yet they are not gods!

Psalms 115:4-8
4 Their idols are silver and gold, The work of man's hands.
5 They have mouths, but they cannot speak; They have eyes, but they cannot see;
6 They have ears, but they cannot hear; They have noses, but they cannot smell;
7 They have hands, but they cannot feel; They have feet, but they cannot walk; They cannot make a sound with their throat.
8 Those who make them will become like them, Everyone who trusts in them.

Galatians 4:8
However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods.
