i have a 100 feet of 12 awg and i want to twist them together to get 4 awg wire so can anyone tell me how many i need?

Dude, go as low as possible when dealing with power cord AWG. As for speaker wire, same concept applies but, you can use 12 AWG wire and not notice a difference. Feel free to email or message me via Yahoo.

8 to 15 maybee more but i wouldnt do that it might burn you car up

and why would you do this 4 guage amp set is like 80

im running 8 awg from amp to subs and 12 awg for power isnt good even if you hook up alot

after all the work....id dut a 4 awg in. u can run much more off it.

Elec. current conducts better through one big path than numerous smaller ones.
