Things to do at her stagette party:
1. Have a theme. For example: An 80s themed party -- and dress from head to toe in proper 80s attire. Or a “Bad Wedding” theme – Wear terrible bridesmaids dresses and find a ghastly dress for the bride at Goodwill! Wearing costumes always make people loosen up/
2. Make black tool veil head bands for the guests that are in mourning, and a white one for the bride attached to a crown.
3. For an ice breaker, make penis name tags. Cut penises out on white tag board and have the girls had to color the penis to represent them. "I'm Susie and I'm a teacher, so mine has apple balls and a ruler shaft."
4. Make up a toast to do at dinner. Give each girl is line from the toast and have it fit the "theme". For the 80s party, one line said "May Conor always wake you up before he go - gos."
5. Play "Suck for a Buck." The bride wears a white shirt that says "Suck for a Buck" and is covered with lollipops. Men pay a dollar, to take off a lollipop hands free.
6. Play the Name Game. She wears a shirt that is covered with common and not so common male names. She carries a pen, and men cross off their name on her shirt.
7. Video tape the groom answering questions about himself ("what is the name of your alter ego" or "what is the sexiest thing the bride has ever done") and play back the tape letting the guests and bride answer the questions then here the answers right from him.
8. The best thing I always do is send an email survey to each guest asking questions about there relationship with the bride (when did they meet, how they became friends, advice for wifehood). I print up the answers, cut them out, and decorate the party space with them. Some answers are funny, some are sweet, and everyone loves reading them. We turned it into a scrapbook at the end of the party.
Bridal Shower Games:
If your bride wants games, here are a few fun ones:
Who Knows the Couple?
Make a questionnaire with questions about the couple and their relationship (how long have they been together, when was their first date, etc). Everyone fills one out and the most right wins.
Clothes Pin Game
Everyone is given a clothes pin when they enter the shower. Select a predetermined wedding word (such a Bride or the Groom's Name) and whenever a guest says the taboo word, the quickest person to notice takes their clothes pin. The most clothes pins at the end wins.
The Purse Game
It's a classic. Make up a list with point values of items that could be in a purse (lip stick, atm card, pictures) and award points based on how many of each item is in everyones purse. The person with the most points or the most predetermined items wins.
Recipe Cards
It's not a game, but it's a great idea: With the invitations, send a recipe card. Ask each guest to bring their husband, brother, or sons favorite recipe. Put them all in a book to give the bride as a keepsake and a sure-fire recipe book

the bridal shower
-ask the groom questions such as his name of his grade teacher , and what was his first pets name and ect. Than play who knows the groom, than ask the bride her answer to the question than before you tell her if shes right ask eveyone if they think shes right or wrong, for those who get it right than they get a point, at the end the girl with the most points gets a prize.
-have clothes pins and give each girl one to put on her shirt, and once someone says the word bride or wedding you choose, than they loose their pin to whoever catches her saying the word first, the last person with the most pins wins
-have a sticker under a plate and the one with the sticker wins
-have a arrangement of different wedding small items in a basket everyone gets to look for 30 seconds than take it away and than they have to write down everything that they remember in the basket the one who gets the most items wins
Stagette
-Treat her to a spa have a girls day with getting your nails done and facials.
-See if you can rent a cottage out in the country and have all the girls stay there for the weekend, go peddle boating, swimming, pj party, and later have everyone bring something sexy for her to wear on her honey moon, this can get really funny.
-Go club jumping, start at one bar and work your way down to the street, play pool do shots, and dance the night away.

Don't play games...it's a waste of time and so dated, everyone used to do that years ago...people are way too busy today, plus they want to see you open your gifts, not play games, we would rather have you spend the money you are planning to buy some little gifts with on yourself or for your wedding. If you feel the need to give something, leave a little present at each setting, no one will be slighted if they don't "win a prize"....nothing worse than seeing someone walk out with some gift that cost possibly more than what they gave. Our family and friends have gotten away from that whole concept....who ever said you have to give a gift to receive a gift?

Sorry, but not everyone you'd like to is able to attend your pre-wedding events. Also, not everyone wants to attend these. If you'd like to and are having one, invite them to your rehearsal dinner (assuming you're hosting it). Or host a little luncheon for them with no gifts. Having a 2nd shower just so these particular ladies can attend may come off to some as a greedy gift grab even if you don't intend for it to be.

The who knows the bride the best. The look of horror on my mom's face when she discovered that my high and mighty perfect sister met her hubby at a bar.
