Most Christians have never read the Bible in its entirety. Most Christians cannot name the Ten Commandments off the top of their heads. Why are you so lazy, 'Christians'?

I have never met a Christian in my entire life who can name the Ten Commandments of the top of their heads. They get stuck after 'Thou shalt not steal'. If the Ten Commandments are the basis of Judeo-Christianity, then you are a BAD CHRISTIAN if you can't name them.

I have read the Bible and I know the ten Commandments. I would not judge "Most Christians" by who is on this site though.

"Judge not that ye be not judged; for in the same manner that thou meetest out judgment so shall it be measured unto you."

I wish that I could take credit for that quote. I've met many good people who have never opened up any holy book of any sort. I have a hard time believing that a just and loving God would send them to Hell. We tend to judge much more harshly than the Creator judges. It may very well be that the people you judge as lazy are so busy living the life they should be living that they don't have alot of time to read about it.

Let us be gentle in our judgments as we can only see a very small sliver of reality, whereas God sees the whole picture

did you know in many Muslim countries if criminals memorize the entire Koran by heart than most if not all of thier sentence is lifted? I sincerely doubt that a person that reads the whole Bible is a better Christian than another that hasn't, its how you apply what you read not how much. Of course it is unsettling how many outspoken Christians haven't even read the whole book before they start spouting thier opinions.

i have!
and it brought me to tears many times.
it brought me to faith, it reproved me, of false christian beliefs and disagreed with the spirit of revelation,
Many people can go to the exact same verse and come to complete opposite beliefs.

The bible is not a complete or perfect book, the truth of God cannot be bound within a single book, but it is good for instruction in righteous, but one must have the holy ghost to lead them.

Never read the bible and don't plan to. Alot of useless info there. I don't need stories as examples of what is right or wrong.

We all fall short from the glory of God. Can you see why we need Jesus. We would not just make it to the Father's house without Him. : )
